Personally, I'm looking at Razer Basilisk Ultimate Wireless. Since the G903 nightmare, both my kids have been using Glorious Model O, and after 8 months, no issues, and they love it, but I'd like to give it another year before recommending it to anyone. Recommendations? None really, as I don't have long term use of anything other than Logitech of late. but yes, generally, low DPI is best for FPS or games like WoT. I don't think it's black and white to just list the DPI sensitivity you use and draw conclusions from it, as there's lots of other variables within windows and the game, and some players have 10 inch wide mouse mats, while others have 3 feet wide mouse mats and just use their mice very differently ("you guys have mouse mats?" ). On Youtube, I recommend OptimumTech - he mostly does Small Form Factor stuff, but also covers a lot of mice stuff, with quite a few videos lately, and also Battle(non)sense who is all about the latency from monitor, GPU, mice, etc. To answer the OP's questions, yes, wireless mice are just as fast from a latency perspective these days, so no issue there. Get your crap together, Logitech! Meanwhile I've been using the same Logitech M510 mouse for work for a decade with zero issues, so it's not like they can't build something reliable! Had a G613 keyboard fail to this, and was looking at a G915 as a replacement, but even it uses the same garbage keyboard switches and has high failure rates. On their Keyboards, their own Romer-G Switches are also complete garbage, having super high failure rates due to key chatter & double typing issues. People even have businesses that just replace Logitech mouse switches!īut it doesn't end with their Mice. This is such a widespread problem, that there's tutorial's on how to fix them and replace with a more reliable switch like Khail's. FIVE! G903's in the span of just a few years, and I refuse to even open the 5th one they sent us, because I am so done with their mice. They use Omron 20m's and their failure rate is absurd. but the switches they use in their current lineup are complete garbage from a reliability perspective. Incredible ergonomics, 2.4GHz Wireless, aesthetics, battery life, latency, etc. Logitech make some great mice out of the box.
